WELCOME TO THE SCHOOL OF LOGISTICS AND INNOVATION TECHNOLOGY (SLIT)

The School of Logistics and Innovation Technology (SLIT) was established in March 2010 as the School of Management Technology (SMAT), to reflect the emphasis of the University on ‘technology for self-reliance’ and technological innovation. The students in the school are trained to lead in physical, social and economic landscapes optimizing supply chains, enhancing operational efficiency, and creating innovative solutions for local, national and global commerce.

The programmes run in the school equip students with the knowledge and skills required to execute physical and economic projects both in the private and public sectors with utmost efficiency. Partnerships with industry leaders and access to cutting-edge research facilities provide students with real-world insights and a strong professional network. Graduates from the School of Logistics and Innovation Technology are positioned to become industry leaders and innovators, driving change in sectors ranging from e-commerce and manufacturing to global trade and smart cities.

The school currently runs five programmes which include: Business Information Technology (BIT), Entrepreneurship Management Technology (EMT), Logistics and Transport Technology (LTT), Project Management Technology (PMT) and Securities and Investment Management Technology (SIMT).
